I call Abu and he wants me to pick his ass up at around 8.30. This means we'll be at Ribley's at 8.35, order our food.. 8.45, wait for our food..9.00, eat and chit chat.. 10.15, drop their asses home.. 10.30, drive back out to TTDI 10.40. So, after weighing my options, I opt to skip dinner and start drinkies early. It's no fun when you get to a drinking session, everyone's high and tipsy, and you gotta drink non stop to catch up. Drinking's more fun when everyone gets drunk simultaneously.
So, I'm the 1st to arrive at Ecky. As I have not had dinner yet, I order the Nasi Goreng Kampung. I order a bucket of Tiger as well. The beer there is the cheapest in PJ. RM35 for a bucket of 5. RM7 bucks for a bottle of beer is cheap lar. As we drink, the gang grows. Vincent wants to drink somewhere else. We have a few options lar. We could go to Waikiki Too (but we're always there). We could go to Perfume (but the gang complains that the place smells). We could go to hQnine... and we do.
No more same mistake twice, we don't order the Black Label. Too ex lar. RM400 bucks is ridiculous wei. We order a bottle of Chivas. Cheap lar... only RM313 per bottle. That's close to 100 bucks difference wei. As usual, we drink pretty fast. And wadda ya know, we order another bottle. Everything is kinda blurry to me right now. I must say, I was pretty drunk. I don't remember if we finished the 2nd bottle or not. I remember nego-ing with Jules on where to go for supper. I wanted Dharoos, Jules wanted "Tai Chau". We asked the gang on what they wanna makan. The gang wanted "Tai Chau". Majority wins, so we head to the one behind Dharoos. Actually, good choice lar. The supper was good. Hehe. But I damn mabuk, I don't remember the conversations we had there. Signs of a good night...
