All my insurance & savings plan are due. I spend the day running around making payments. I have lunch with Teck Waey somewhere in Cheras. It's supposedly famous for it's roast duck. I obviously have no idea how to get to the restaurant. I drive to Kesas and meet up with him and I tail him all the way to Cheras. The journey was fucking long. Turn left.. turn right... Wah lau eh. I'm absolutely lost. But Takeaway damn champion lar. He found the restaurant with ease. I must say... the duck was worth the drive. It was really good. Juicy tender meat, crispy aromatic skin. Good stuff wei. We started eating at around 12.30 and finished at about 1 ish. Takeaway wanted to tah pau some duck for his in-laws. But the lady told us that they are running low on ducks and they are not gonna give us any. The boss wants to make sure that customers do get to eat and not drive to his restaurant for nothing. Very considerate of him.
After lunch, I go to Great Eastern & Allianz and settle all my stuff. We then decide to go to Leisure Commerce Square for snooker. Bloody hell.. it's fucking jam like shit. Jalan Tun Razak gone mad wei. But since we were itching for snooker, we still tolerated the jam and drove to Sunway. I had a pretty good snooker day. Made some cash and had some fun. Ah Chuan wanted to drink and suggested we drive to Puchong and have some Guinness Draft. Initially Takeaway and I were not too keen on drinking. But after some contemplation, we decide to drink in TTDI Plaza. I call Ah Chuan and the 3 of us make our way to TTDI.
Chuan insist that he only wants to drink Guinness Draft. We go to Tao and grab our 1st pint there. The chick working there lepaks with us. She told us how much she makes.. how life is difficult... bli bli bla bla. So Chuan leaves 10 bucks tips on the table for her. We then move to Wabisabi. Same thing lar, we have 1 pint and chit chat there. After that, we move to hQnine and grab a pint as well. So far... it would seem as if we have had 3 pints each. But the fact is that Chuan and I have had more because Takeaway was pouring his Guinness into our glass. I think he accumulatively only had 1 pint from the bar hopping. Since Fidels was dead, and Waikiki doesn't serve Guinness Draft (I think), we went to Bamboo. Bamboo's Guinness is the cheapest. RM22 per pint compared to RM25 at the rest of the places. The 2 fellas were yawning and bitching about wanting to go home. I was gungho about drinking and at least gettin tipsy. I promised that I will agree to leave after 2 pints.
After chilling for a while, I start getting drunk-ish. We order more than the 2 pints per person which we initially agreed on. There are 4 Barcardi gals working the floor. They come to me, I look at them, , smirk and do the 'No' sign with my finger. They hang around and pester me. Sigh... I'm so predictable. I buy 2 shots just to be a nice guy. Takeaway is nicer. He actually buys them a few shots. After selling us the shots, the gals move on to their next customer. About 20 mins later, the other 2 gals approach us. One of them looks really cute and I once again fall prey. I hand her 20 bucks for the shot (which I ask her to drink) and give her 10 bucks more as tips. Sigh... Will I ever change? They do stick around though and we stay till the place closed. By the end of the night, I think I have easily drank 7-8 pints of Guinness. I've lost count. Mabuks once again.
Us at hQnine. Still very sober at this stage.
