The weekend has arrived. As usual, the gang plans to go out for drinkies. We had no idea where to go. Sigh... KL is kinda far... so is Sunway. We would all still prefer to drink in PJ. But where to drink? We don't want to chill in a pub. We were thinking more towards clubbing. Honestly, TTDI plaza is getting kinda boring. We've been drinking there every week. I think we drink there so often we're regulars in all the pubs. So... where to go leh?

Jules sms me and suggest we hangout in Bamboo. I thought it was a brilliant idea. That is the 1 place in TTDI Plaza that we do not frequent. So it's been decided... 10 ish at Bamboo. I get an sms from an unknown number (I changed handphone and lost some of my contacts). The sms I received wanted to know if I'm in TTDI. I asked if it was a chick or a dick. If it's a chick I'll come over but if it's a dick... I'll probably wait till 10 to go to TTDI. I get a reply stating "Chick". So I agree to go over and meet up in Eckywoobee.

I get to Ecky at about 9.30pm. The "chick" was no where in sight. But I see Ricks & Freds sitting inside drinking beer. So I join them. 30 mins later... the "chick" arrives. It's actually Jackie. Aiya.. I thought who. Anyways.. she just pops by just to say hi lar. She then went back to Waikiki to drink with her colleagues. So as Ricks, Fred and I are drinking, the gang starts to grow as the drinkers come in 1 by 1. Cindy arrives... Vince arrives... Jules arrives... Rams arrives... Sam arrives.

Since we have such a big gang, we thought we better to to Bamboo lar. The place is absolutely packed. But as long as we can get a table then it'll be okay. We walk to the entrance. We ask for a table and state that we wanna open 2 bottles or whisky. The dude gives me the drink list and bottle price. Fucks... damn kau expensive. We have always know that Bamboo and hQnine are both Chivas outlets. We were ready to order Chivas instead of Black Label to save some $$$. But bloody hell.. the price for 2 bottles of Chivas is RM839. You gotta be shitting me wei. I have never seen anywhere sell such expensive bottles. When we saw the price, we were like.. "Fuck it lar. Lets go to hQnine". At least back at hQnine, we know how much the bottles cost.

I order 2 bottles of Chivas and they have a promo. Slightly cheaper than opening 1 bottle at a time. 2 bottles cost RM599 nett. Now that's more like it. Imagine.. a difference of 240 bucks compared to Bamboo. We don't get our usual table as it is late and someone is already sitting there. But I think these high tables are actually nicer as a lot of us like to stand while drinking. I think next time we'll request for these tables instead. So the usual lar.. down down down... After 3 rounds of downing the drinks, we've consumed 1/2 a bottle of Chivas. Debs arrives a bit later looking fine in her little red dress. Danny and Rose arrive later in the night as well. It's actually Danny's birthday so Rose makes an exception and allows him to drink for the night. We were really happy to have him drinking with us. It's been a while since we last had a drink together and the dude is always good to have around. Really fun guy.

Fred opens the 3rd bottle which he is buying because the last time we drank at hQnine, we didn't ask him to pay for it. But soon after he opens the bottle, he chaus the scene. He's suppose to meet up with his girl somewhere. As usual.. don't really remember what happend in hQnine. Just a lot of drinking happening. With Danny around, we manage to finish the 3rd bottle. Ramesh suggest we move to Waikiki for a more chillout drinking. We all oblige and make our way there. Ramesh opens the 4th bottle. Later in the night, Wendy arrives fashionably late after her friend's birthday party. I think we were all pretty high by that time. Danny had wine before he came over. A bunch of us had a few buckets of beer before the whisky session started. Although we were pretty wasted, we still managed to drink a lot of the 4th bottle. I think we drank 8/10 of the bottle and we all surrendered and no one wanted to drink anymore. We were doing the 5 second pour whisky straight into mouth thang. It wasn't pleasant. Not at all when you're this fucked up.

We actually drank till 4am and a lot of the guys were getting tired. Those who wanted to makan drove to Murni and those who were shit tired went home. If I remember correctly, Vince, Jules, Wendy and I went to Murni. As usual... I order my Claypot Lou Shue Funn. By 5am, as Jules, Vince & Wendy were chatting away, I excused myself as I wasn't feeling too good. Too much drinks... too little time. As usual... Good times...
