Last Firday was great. Minum and mabuks as usual lar. I haven't seen Vincent for at least a month or two. We agreed to meet up and minums on Friday. Jules sms'ed me asking me to suggest a location. As usual, we do not want to drive too far to drink. I suggest Tao. The funny story about Tao is this. When we started drinking in TTDI plaza, we were like insects attracted to lights. The interior design is nice. It looked posh and fancy lar. Week in... week out... we were drinking in Tao at TTDI.
The other plus point in Tao was this gal called Michelle. Her real name is Magdalena and she's from the Phillipines. She... pretty lar. And I am a creature of habit. When I go a place. I go all the time. When someone serves me, I prefer they serve me all the time. So basically, we were going to Tao and not the other pubs for the ambiance and good service (by service I mean drink pouring... seriously...).
After Tao, we started shifting to other drinking locations in TTDI plaza. Waikiki Too, Bamboo, Fidels, Eckywoobee, Wine @ Nine, hQnine, Perfume, Wabisabi, are the other places we drink at in TTDI Plaza. Then all these places start getting more and more boring. So now, we're actually back in Tao. It's like a full cycle. We're like salmons. Born there, moved around, go back there and reproduce.
Anyways.. I arrive at 9.20. I'm early as usual. Jules arrives at 9.30 and Vincent arrives at about 10. I order a bottle and the 3 of us consume the whole bottle in record time. Jules orders another bottle. Debs, Anisa, Hwe, Jeff, Tai & Rachel arrive. We drink and chat a lot lar. And wadda ya know, we order another bottle. By 1 ish, we have actually finished off all 3 bottles. Safe to say, we were all pretty high. We end up in SS2 for supper. We actually chill in SS2 for pretty long. By the time I got home, I think it was close to 4am. Another good outing...
Jeff, Tai & Vince. Jeff always looks bored, Tai cheerful and Vince merry.
Rachel & I. She and Tai are getting married and having the wedding dinner this month. Congrats guys...
As the booze kicks in, so does Vincent's facial expression.
Me with Hwe and his Indian colleague from India. Sorry dude.. I don't remember your name.
Er... What's Vince doing behind the pillar?
Oh... Vince passed out in a standing position.
And now passed out on the sofa. I'm sure this is more comfortable.
There can only be "One".
So guys... This is my last entry. I might have updates once in a blue moon if I actually feel like it. But I doubt there will be many entries. So... thanks for being a regular reader of mabuks.blogspot. Check the site maybe once a month. I'll keep it up so you can drop me messages at anytime. I wish you all great drunken weekends.
