First of all, I must apologize for the long hiatus. Last Friday, I travelled back to Teluk Intan for my bud's wedding. It was a Saturday wedding lunch. The "bring the bride home" ceremony was on Sunday. I was actually expecting to come back to PJ on Sunday and therefore didn't bother to bring my laptop along with me. I ended up staying back till Tuesday.

Got back from Teluk Intan on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday morning, I knew I was gonna fall sick as I could feel a slight fever and my joints were aching... signs of me catching a cold. Popped 2 biji Panadol and drove back to PJ. Got back to PJ at 2pm. After the Panadol wore off, the fever came back. Popped another 4 biji of Panadol within the next 8 hours. By night, I was feelin like crap. Bloody cold sweat. I haven't felt this shit for a very long time. Made up my mind to see the doctor the following morning.

I went to bed at midnight but I ended up waking up every single hour. Too tired to stay awake. Too uncomfortable to fall asleep and continue sleeping. Damn... Anyways, I get up at 8 in the morning and go to the clinic. Doctor basically gives me Panadol again. But one with a higher dosage lar. Drive home and whack the pills. 4 times a day. After 2 days, I actually feel pretty much back to normal. Absolutely hate being sick. Man... it sure sucked.

Okay... here are some pics which I took when I got back to Teluk Intan...

Went to a place called Al-Fresco and grabbed a few beers.

The 1st dish at the wedding luncheon.

Cheers to the Bride & Groom... (I must say this is a nice pic. I guess I get creative when I am druk)

Ah Chuan and I the 2 major drunkards at the luncheon.

Ah Kia the drinking avoider...

Ah Chuan being his usual self.

The gang with the newlyweds.

After the luncheon, we decide to go makan a bit more as we were drinking more than eating at the luncheon.

This "Loh Mee" is damn good wei... Either that or I was too mabuk to think that anything can actually be bad. Hehehe...

The cards which made me 500 bucks when me and me mates played poker later in the evening.
It was a really nice wedding. Soh Thong Hee aka Sotong has been dating Meng Yuen for ages... I think at least 10 years. They are a match made in heaven. Both really lovely people. What a great couple they make.
As for me, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's dinner with Robert Rainford. He's the host of the show "Licence to Grill". I'm sure I'll enjoy the dinner. I'll try to take some pics and post em' up on Sunday.
