It's been a busy busy weekend. I was a good boy on Friday. I stayed at home and did not drink a sip of alcohol. I had to wake up at 7 in the morning as I was one of the 'Heng Tais' for our buddy Lai Meng. I am not used to waking up early and drinking will definitely not help. Woke up at 7 sharp on Friday. Got to Abu's house by 7.30am. We waited for Danny and Rose. We then all drove to Lai Meng's house in Megah. Had some coffee and food and off we went to the bride's house. The good thing about this 'Chip Sann Leong' day was that it was raining. This resulted in a cool windy day.. ahh.. bliss. The games that they played were pretty alright as well. By 11am, we had left the bride's house. This was good for me as I had some work to do.
Most of my readers know that I am currently providing promoters to Hypermarkets. This pretty much makes my weekends become weekdays. But I'm not complaining. In fact, it feels good to be working again. To have a purpose. I've been sitting at home watching TV and getting drunk at night so much that it's getting kinda boring. All I do is wait for my friends to get off work. Anyways.. I rush to a few outlets on Saturday after being the 'Heng Tai'. I get my work done by 4. I rush home, take a quick shower and pack. I had to go back to Teluk Intan for another wedding dinner. The fact is that I had 3 wedding dinners on the same day. Lai Meng told me about his wedding a year back.. which I actually forgot about the date. My kampung friend called me a few months back telling me about his wedding... which I promised I would go (I have not attended so many of my friends wedding in my hometown that I was afraid the buggers would ban me if I missed this one). And I had Kenny's wedding which he told me a month back. As it's impossible to go to all, I was the 'Heng Tai' for Lai Meng and attended the Teluk Intan wedding. Kenny.. my bad. Sorry for not attending your wedding. We'll go makan-makan sometime soon lar.. on me. Hehehe...
So... After the dinner, I spent a night in Teluk Intan. I had some errands to run in the morning. I had an early lunch with my parents and aunty and I was off back to PJ. Anisa had a BBQ party at 5 at her place. I had run out of my whisky bottles at home. So I went to Carrefour and bought some juice instead. Got there early as usual lar. So I help setup the tables and chairs. The food was great. Thanks to Adrian for doing all the cooking. As my stomach wasn't swirling after the food, I guess you must have done a great job cooking. There was so much food, we were all pretty stuffed. I left early at 8.45 as I was suppose to meet up with my friend and a Hypermarket personel for drinks. I drove to Laundry at The Curve and started drinking. We didn't drink much. I only had 3 bottles of Heineken and 3 pints of Guinness.
Anyways.. I didn't take pics at the BBQ but I do have some pics from the morning 'Heng Tai' session...
Me and the Ma Chan...
