Picked Danny & Rose up and headed to Genting for the Speedzone Rave party. It's suppose to start at 6pm and end at 12am. But Danny was busy so we went there late. Arrived at Gotong Jaya at 8 and had some dinner before proceeding up to First World. Danny actually booked a room with the intention to stay. But he later changed his mind and we used the room to place the stuff we did not want to carry around.
After checking into the room, we walked to Arena of Stars and by the time we got there, it was already 9.30pm. By this time, it was packed. I think I have never seen so many Malays in Genting in my life. After walking into the arena, Glenn, Jir & wife, decide to go back out to grab a few beers so that they can layan the music a bit. Weird, but they did not serve any alcohol at all in the premises.
I'm not much of a rave kaki, but I must say... I rather enjoyed it. Something different from the norm. I guess people do change as they grow older. We sit a bit, stand a bit, move a bit. The Malays were doing most of the dancing. They all came prepared with their little torchlight ring, glow in the dark sticks & LED lit t-shirts.
Jules & Debs were bored so they decided to come to the Rave party. Just to be safe, I walked out to the ticketing counter to make sure that there were still tickets available. Lucky I did so, as the tickets were all sold out. 10 thousand tickets all sold out. Amazing. I never knew people were so crazy over rave in Malaysia. Since I was already outside, I decided to walk to the casino and play a few hands. Wrong choice... bloody lost 300 bucks. Sigh... I guess I should have just walked back into the arena.
With an empty wallet and my head hung low, I made my way back to the rave party. It was already 12 midnight and the party was still going strong. Danny was having fun and agreed to leave at 1.30am. So I chilled... shake leg a bit... and waited for time to pass. At 1.30am, I pointed to my watch in front of Danny's face and we left Genting. It was bloody raining cats and dogs. So I took a real slow drive back down. Plus the fact that Danny & Rose were constantly reminding me that during rain the road gets slippery, and that my car is not in tip top condition. We eventually got back to KL at around 2.45 in the morning. I dropped them off and drove to hQnine to look for Jules & Debs.
I arrive at hQnine at 3 in the morning. Debs & Jules were pretty wasted by the time I arrived. They have had a ton to drink but they were still very much awake. This would be thanks to the Jagerbombs they had. Debs was going on and on about still wanting to drink. So we ended up going to H2O. They only allowed us to order a jug of beer. So we just chatted and drank slowly. I think we left at about 4am.
Woke up at 12pm and Jules and I decide to go to Kapar, Klang to look for a restaurant we saw being showed on AFC. It serves home made 'Mee Suah' which is prepared in various ways. I pick Jules up at 12.30 and we drive to Klang. As I know where Kapar is, we actually did not really have any trouble finding the place. We had a plate of fried mee suah, a bah kut teh mee suah, and an additional pot of bah kut teh for lunch. All this plus a pot of Chinese Tea for RM28. Pretty good deal. Not too expensive. I guess it's not expensive because of it's location.
After makan, we had nothing to do. So we just drove around and jalan-jalan. Since we were so free, we decided to try to find where Cap Square is. It's actually beside Alliance Bank at Jalan Munshi Abdullah. The place was fucking dead. Nothing much to see as most of the stores were closed. There is a TGV cinema there. But it's small. Just 6 halls. And if you wanna watch a movie there, don't bother. It's an Indian cinema. All Indian shows and just a few Engrish movies.
We walk around and Jules said that he knows that there is a drinking place here. So we walk around a bit more and we actually do find a drinking place. RM320++ for a bottle of Chivas and FOC 10 shots of Tequila. Pretty good deal. And the place looks pretty nice and comfy as well. I'm sure we'll be checking out the place soon.

Started my detox on Tuesday. I must say, it ain't easy. I have been eating fruits and raw veggies for 3 days straight. I have had so many fruits, I had problems finishing 2 apples for dinner. I have OD'ed on fruits. I actually save a lot by not going out at all. But fruits are not all that cheap. 6 Apples, 1 Watermelon, and a bunch of grapes set me back 40 bucks.
As I have been staying at home a lot, today was the day to go out and have some fun. Sam from Ipoh is around and he wanted to go Go-Karting. We met up at the Sunway Theme park at 10.30 in the morning. We had to pay 45 bucks to get in. The enterance fees include a few free rides. But we were more interested in Go-Karting. So we were forced to pay the 45 bucks entry fees.
Bloody walked for miles and finally arrived at the Go-Kart circuit after a lot of sweat and fats burned. Ladies and gentlemen, Go-Karts ain't cheap. 20 bucks for 5 mins. Wah lau eh... No one's gonna just ride it for 5 mins. So obviously we ask for 10 mins (Current damage: RM85 bucks per person). It was bloody fun. Only problem is that the circuit is really small. Basically only 3 tight corners. We started pretty slow. But after getting the hang of it, we were pretty much drifting around the track. Bloody brilliant.. brilliant...
After Go-Karting, I spotted a ride... G-Force. It's a ride where you sit in a cage and they catapult you into the air. I actually took this ride in Singapore a few years back. And as far as I remembered, it was pretty good. I convinced Sam to join me. This ride is bloody expensive. It cost us another 50 bucks (Current damage: RM135 per person). After the ride, I bought the video recording of us on the ride for RM10. While waiting for them to burn the video, Sam and I play some paint ball. We did not shoot each other lar. But we shot some targets in front of us. This cost us another RM10.
There were some free activities as well which were included in the entrance fees. We had a go at 'Flying Fox' as well as ride the ATV. The terrain was not that challenging but it was nice to try riding an ATV. Other than that, there was nothing else at the Sunway Extreme Park.
After sweating a litre of sweat and making my leg muscles ache, we went for lunch at Italianese in Sunway. Since I am still on my detox, I had a hearty veggie soup, healthy Chicken Breast Sandwich and a cold glass of water. Lunch was pretty good and not too expensive. The lunch set cost us RM20 each. RM170 spent in 3 hours on entertainment & food. Quite expensive... but a nice change...

Well... I was suppose to start my detox program on Monday. I was getting myself mentally prepared on Sunday night. Then at 11pm, Teck Waey calls saying that he need a lift from the car workshop on Monday and that we go for lunch after picking him up. So I told myself that I will start detox on Tuesday instead.
Well... I didn't pick him up from the workshop because he couldn't get an appointment. But we still did lunch. We went to Jaipur in TTDI and had banana leaf rice. He bought me lunch (thanks bro) which cost 35 bucks. After lunch, I went home to chill and watch some TV. AT 3 ish, I went to the Digi centre in Solaris. I have a RM240 cash voucher which I can use to redeem anything I want in the Digi shop. I have my mind set on the Nokia Bluetooth model BH-505. It's bloody cool. Cost 390 bucks but with my voucher, I would only need to pay 150 bucks to get it. Sadly, they do not have it and as a matter of fact, it isn't even in the market yet. The guy suggest that I go to Low Yatt to find it as the Low Yatt Digi centre is owned by a distributor and they will hold more Bluetooth stocks.
It's 4pm and I ask Jules if he wants to go with me to KL. He's cool about it but he'll only be done at 6.30. To save petrol and time, I drive to Mid Valley straight from Solaris. I meet up with Nadine for yam char at MV at the lower ground. After some nasi lemak & kueh muih, we go up to Bates office where I read a few magazines while waiting for Ah Lian.
We get to KL at about 7 ish. I go to the Digi centre and as suspected, they do not have any of the Bluetooth devices I want. So I basically try to make do with what I can get just to rid of the voucher. I get a 8GB memory card and a Jabra Bluetooth. It's actually a pretty good deal. I just pay an additional 17 bucks for both these items. Jules and I go for a cheap 'chapp fann' opposite Low Yatt. We then drive to Beach Club to meet up with Jiggly & Vincent for a few beers.
Beer during happy hour is reasonable lar. RM55 for a bucket of Carlsberg containing 6 bottles. We drink and chat a bit. We finish off the bucket and the waiter ask if we want an additional bucket. But after happy hour, the price has sky rocketed to RM115. Fucking mad ar? More that double the original price. The good thing about the place is that you can ogle at all these foreign women with 1/2 their breast sticking out of their clothes. Well... Beach Club has become a prostitute joint. A place for foreigners to drink and pick up a gal for the night. As we are asians, the gals don't bother coming to us. They know we're there for alcohol & not pussies. So, with the exorbitant price of beer, we go to Thai Club which is right opposite Beach Club.
Suprise suprise... it's another hooker joint. We're not too bothered about the gals but we're more bothered about the price of the drinks. I ask the waiter on the price of drinks. He tells me that they serve 3 jugs for RM80. I was like.. "Har?... 80 ar?" He nods, I look at the gang.. they nod, and I look at the waiter and I nod. Good deal wei. But I was a bit skeptical as it would be too cheap. I told the gang that the jugs might be small jugs (small jugs are 3 mugs instead of 4 mugs per jug). True enough, small jugs they were. And in addition to that, the beer was kinda watered down. Well... safe to say that we won't be frequenting this joint much.
After drinkies, we went to SS2 for some 'Lok-Lok'. It's been a while since I had some and I loved it. Had my usual BBQ Bacon which I have always enjoyed. After supper, Jules & I go to the DVD shop to get some movies and the True Blood Season 2 box set (at the same time we're there to see Candy, the cute DVD shop gal). After a whole day of walking, I end my outing with a much needed 1 hour foot massage at 'Big Foot'. Nice...
Vincent & I at Thai Club. I don't think he wants to be seen there.

I just got back from Diamond Bay. Drove back to TI on Wednesday. I didn't do much. Chilled at home most of the time. What I did most of the time was eat. It was like non stop eating. Had my 'Chue Cheong Funn'... my 'Cia Cia' breakfast... my evening fried Kuey Teow.
By Friday night I was itching to go out. I called my usual drinking buddy... Babi. Went to his office to chill. I bought 6 small bottles of beer and 2 small bottles of stout. We finished the drinks off and went out for some food. Met two more friends and we had some oysters and some fish. After makan, Babi bought 10 big bottles of Heineken and 2 more bottles of Guinness. But this time around, a whole bunch of ppl came along to his office.
They had the Under 20 world cup on I think. There was the 3 & 4 placing as well as the finals. Drunk me bet on some football and lost. Moral of the story is... don't bet. I had stopped betting for quite a while now. I am a compulsive gambler. I used to bet on everything. I would bet on football, basketball, snooker, tennis, badminton... even Miss Universe. You can actually bet on which country will win it! Anyways... I drank till 5 in the morning. The good thing was that his office is 30 seconds away from my house. Oh yeah.. he's actually my neighbour. So we drove our cars for 200 meters, parked opposite each other, and walked into our houses.
I spent Saturday night at home. The drinking gang went to Langkap to get mabuks again. All I did was sit in front of the telly and watch football. Woke up late on Sunday but still managed to go for my favourite Hailam Chicken Rice. If this stall was operating in PJ, I would be the regularerest customer of all. I love it. The chicken is the best I have ever had. Anyways.. after makan, I begin my journey back to PJ.
I went to Giant to buy some fruits and veggies. I am starting my detox program tomorrow. I am gonna be exercising and eating fruits and vegetables only for the next few days. Lets hope I feel more healthy and I can lose some weight this coming week.

Good touch breast... or as all Chinese would say... Good Moleng. It's now 3.52 am as this. I am watching Fiona Xie on 'Coffee Talk & Hawker Woks. She is make loving hot. She is damn cute. And the whole world would love to see her naked (or at least me lar). Her voice also cute wei. Fuckin panas gila.
Anyways.. thanks to Debs, I am drunk. She sms'ed me at 12.23pm stating that there is a beer buffet at Shalome. As I am a fucking drunkard, I never say to to buffets. 45 nett wei. It's a fucking good deal. Vince passed, Tissa never answered my sms, and Jules didn't want to drink with my x colleagues. So it was me, Edwin, his gf Pui Yee, Danny Koo, Aerone & Tania. I got there at 6 ish. The buffet started at 5.30pm. But I didn't want to kiasu gila and arrive at 5.30pm. So I went makan with Edwin & Rihanna (that's wat I call Pui Yee) first. After makans, we got to Shalome at 6.15pm. Aerone, Danny & Tania joined us later. By the time we wanted to leave, I have had 9 mugs of beer. Balik modal lar. We left at 10 ish. We had booked a room at Red Box @ Curve.
Half ass drunk us drove to Red Box and sang our hearts out. We were not able to finish all the beer but Rihanna & I had quite a few. Danny & Aerone left early. Edwin slept at the sofa. And there was only me and Rihanna drinking there. As they did not want to makan, I was forced to cook at home and makan alone. Maggi porridge is always good. There is something wrong with the pic upload button. I'll upload tonight's drinking session when blogspot recovers. Oh yeah... I am going back to Teluk Intan for a week. So there will be no drinking plans or updates after this. Till then.. be drunk & merry.

Velvet Again
Jules sent out a sms. Drink on Friday or Saturday. I was eager to get wasted. So I was definitely on for Friday night mabuks session. The plan was like this... We'll go to Deb's crib and down a few first. Then we'll go get 1 bottle which hopefully will last us for the night. We wanted to go to Loft @ Heritage Row to drink for a change. It's been a while since we mabuks there.
I picked Anisa up at 8.50pm and we drove to Deb's crib. I stopped at the Dim Sum store and 'tah paued' some food. This was my dinner as I slept and skipped dinner. We got to Debra's house at about 9 ish. I had the 4 plates of Dim Sum and started drinking some beer. I drank 2 cans of beer while Anisa had a big glass of Vodka. Before leaving her house, Anisa made 2 more big glasses of Whisky for me and Debs. We downed it and drove to KL.
Jules went to Heritage Row and said that the place is absolutely dead. He suggested that we go back to Velvet again. Sigh... Don't get me wrong, it is always good fun to drink in Zouk. But it seems that whenever we are in KL, we always end up in Zouk. Anyways, we get there pretty early. As there is a total of 6 fellas, we are 'forced' to buka 2 bottles. Each bottle permits 4 entries. So instead of the planned 1 bottle everyone share, we ordered 2 bottles instead. The place was pretty dead at 10 ish. This is just the party culture here in Malaysia.
Drinking here is so different from drinking in a 'Kwai Lou' country. Over here, we don't drink early. Over here, we have a habit of challenging others to drink. You are somewhat obligated to drink as much as your fellow drinkers have had. With this in mind, Malaysians will try to stay sober till it's time to start downing their drinks. This of course results in buying a lot of bottles at the clubs which will cost us an arm and a leg. Gwai Lou's on the other hand have a direct opposite drinking style. They drink at home and get tipsy. Then they catch the tube to town and buy a drink... a drink which will last them for the whole night. They then catch the tube back which means they leave the club early. Malaysians on the other hand will always drive to a drinking place. And we'll party till the club closes which would be approximately at 3 ish in the morning.
The good thing about our gang is that we are sorta like veteran drinkers. We don't force each other to drink. We're no longer the young punks we used to be, where being able to drink a lot means you're a hero and you are able to impress the gals (imagine girl with both hands on chin with sparkly eyes looking up). Nowadays, it would be more important to maintain a certain level of sobriety and not make a fool of ourselves (which I always fail to do).
Anyways... I was pretty wasted yesterday. I think it's because I drank at Debra's place first. I remember drinking quite a bit. I think I got home at 4 ish after dropping Debra & Anisa home. I had Maggi cup noodles for supper as no one wanted to 'layan' me for supper. I actually went online and played some online games. I have no idea what time I slept. What I do know is that I woke up at 2pm and had a fucking headache... wait... have a fucking headache. It still fucking hurts.

Cheers gals...
One for the album.
There was this bloody red light which was bloody glaring.
Debs & Tissa, the usual drunkards.
A group pic. Still kinda sober at this stage.
This is the 'Innocent Debra' look. But of course.. we all know she ain't that innocent. Hehe...

Good Engrish
Monday, October 5, 2009
I was planning to go to SSM and register a business. I called Cindy and asked her for lunch. Adrian and Nadine came as well and we went to OUG for some pork noodles. I called Uncle Adrians (another Adrian and not the Bates 141 Adrian) and he told me that if I want to go to SSM, I need to go early in the morning as they have limited que numbers per day. So bacically registering a business on Monday would be out of the question. Instead, I followed Cindy to Starhill. She had some work to do and I had some time to burn. So we went to KL and she did her work.
We decided to have a Karaoke session at night. I was suppose to do the bookings. Sandy came as well and we ended up going to Red Box in Gardens. It's slightly more expensive but the food is better that the ones they serve in the other Red Box outlets (with the exception of Pavilion). Sandy and I got there at 7.30 and started eating first. Nadine and Cindy arrive at 8 and we start drinking and eating and singing.
As I have always stated, I'm a bloody good singer. When I sing, the people beside me would ask... "Eh.. why never off the singer's voice ar?" I would have to tell them that it's actually my suara merdu they are hearing. Hehehe... Cindy on the other hand is tone deaf. Lets just say a lot of songs died yesterday night in the hands of Cindy the butcher. Sandy, Nadine and I were laughing our asses off. I was kacau-ing Cinz and non stop and laughing at her. But I must give her credit for her persistance in tormenting us. But there were one or two songs that she was actually okay lar. Most of the songs... the singer would have commited suicide after hearing Cindy butcher their song.
